When to use the futuro simple

The futuro simple is one word: infinitive + endings . It is used for:

• Predictions without immediate evidence ( Lloverá mañana )
• Promises and offers ( Te ayudaré )
• Distant or formal future
• Probability in the present ( ¿Qué hora será? = I wonder what time it is)

Less urgent than ir a ; more “official” or speculative.
