Actions happening right now — estar + gerund (Spain Spanish)
The present progressive describes something in progress right now : Estoy estudiando = I am studying (at this moment).
Form: estar (conjugated) + gerund (-ando / -iendo). Do not confuse with simple present ( Estudio = I study in general / habit).

Use progressive for right now or a temporary ongoing situation visible to the speaker.
Simple present for habits and general truths: Trabajo en un banco (I work at a bank). Progressive for now: Estoy trabajando en casa hoy .
